The green jobs industry in South Carolina offers opportunities for the growth and development of employees from varying educational backgrounds.  Eighty-seven percent of all reported green occupations in South Carolina require at least a high school diploma or GED, except candidates for positions in management, architecture, engineering, and the sciences which typically have at least a bachelor’s degree.

·         Apprenticeship Carolina.  At no cost to the employer, apprenticeship consultants are available to guide companies through the registered apprenticeship development process from initial information to full recognition in the national Registered Apprenticeship System.
